Kultura Nova Foundation is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring personal data protection and reinforcing the relationship of trust with the user.

Personal data processing while using our website

In the following sections we wish to inform you of the manner in which we process your personal data when you are using our website. If not stated otherwise in the sections to follow, the legal basis for processing of your personal data comes out of the fact that such processing is necessary so you can access the functions of our website you requested.

1. Data collected by accessing our website

When you open our website, your browser will transfer certain data onto our web provider. The data transfer occurs due to technical reasons, so the requested information could be made accessible. In order to make our website more accessible, the following data is collected, stored for a short period of time and used:

Personal identification information such as name, registered name of business or organisation, email address and/or phone number.

b) How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Kultura Nova Foundation with personal data we collect and process when you voluntarily complete a “Sumbit new entry” form available through this website or provide feedback via ecoartsnexus@kulturanova.hr email.

c) How will we use your data?

Kultura Nova Foundation collects your data so that we can review and process your submission and email you in case further information about the submitted item is needed in order for it to be published on our website.

Kultura Nova Foundation securely stores your data and will keep your data for the duration needed for the accomplishment of the pursued purpose.

Kultura Nova Foundation will not divulge your personal data for direct-marketing purposes.

The legal basis upon which the processing of your personal data is legitimised is your informed consent (Art. 6, point 1 of the GDPR) when submitting the entry.

a) What are cookies?

This website uses “cookies”. Cookies are small text files stored in the memory of your device via your browser. They store certain data (e.g. used language or site preferences) that your browser can transfer again to us (depending on the cookies duration span) next time you visit our website.

There are two categories of cookies: (1) functional cookies, without which the functionality of our website would be reduced and (2) additional cookies that are used for website analysis with the goal of getting an overview of the number of visitors at the website.

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of the Google Inc. Company, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) at our website.

Google analyses your use of our website on our behalf. We use the above-described cookies for this purpose. The data that Google collects and that is related to your use of our website (e.g. initial URL, our website that you visited, the browser you used, your language settings, your operating system, your display resolution) is transferred to a Google server in the USA, where they are stored and analysed. The result is given to us in anonymous form. In so doing, information on your use is not linked to your full IP address. We have activated the Google IP anonymization function at our website.

Both options block web analysis as long as you are using the browser on which you installed the add on and you do not delete the opt-out cookie.

In accordance with our possibilities, we have configurated third-party services and content for our purposes in a manner in which any other communication, besides providing their services at our website, is blocked, or communication occurs after you have actively chosen to use the corresponding service. However, considering the fact that we do not have control over data that is collected and processed by third parties, we are not in the position to provide obligatory information about the purpose and aim of such processing of your data.
